Second day at the demo and although we awoke to a steady F4, by the time we arrived at the beach there was nothing.

At 11.00am though the wind suddenly filled in from the NW to 18-20 knots so a scamble for demo kit followed in which I ended up with a JP Xite ride 135.

Took me a while to adjust the rig, raise boom adjust lines, adjust footstraps so I lost a bit of time whilst the wind was ok. Anyway the board felt really nice planed early and was a really nice ride compared to my existing Thommen race board. This was happy with the 6.4m I was using and reasonably lively considering its size. I'm not sure I'd be comforable with my cammed 9.0m on this at the coast but probably would be inland. But its good fun with mid range sails at the coast so could be a good chioce for me for 6.5 - 8.5m weather. Nice board.

The wind dropped off after a while but I was shattered from the previous two days anyway so sat in the sun chatting for a while before heading home at a decent time. Good weekend....
